We’re excited to announce that our proud sponsor, Butcher’s Food for Dogs, will be joining in the fun and festivities at DogFest for the second time this year! You can meet the team and get your paws on a limited edition tin packed with delicious Butcher’s goodies at DogFest North, South and West.

Butcher’s believe that every dog deserves to enjoy a wholesome, British-made bowlful, every single day. That’s why they created Butcher’s to give dogs the goodness they need, with delicious recipes that are made with only natural ingredients from British and Irish farms. You won’t find any nasties in their recipes – just food full of good stuff, to nourish our dogs like they nourish us.

The Butcher’s story began with a pair of Bakers – Fred and Alice Baker, that is – and the butcher shop they opened in Rugby, Warwickshire. Their youngest son, Graham Baker, used his in-depth knowledge of meat to create a recipe for dogs that was as delicious as it was nutritious, using nature’s most nourishing, natural ingredients. The rest is history, and Butcher’s are still driven by Graham’s determination to provide only the best food for every dog, every day.

As part of Butcher’s mission to provide only the best for our dogs, not just by giving them nourishing food, but by protecting the environment they live in, Butcher’s has taken crucial steps to reduce their environmental paw print, and help dog owners do the same. This year, Butcher’s removed the plastic shrink-wrap packaging from their can multi-packs, and replaced them with recyclable and biodegradable cardboard. This could save 92 tonnes of plastic wrap per year which is equivalent to 4.2 million plastic bottles!

So if you’re looking for a naturally nourishing meal that’s not only good for your dog, but the planet too, make sure you stop by the Butcher’s stand at DogFest! Don’t forget to grab your limited edition tin, and take part in Temptation Alley, where your dogs will have to resist some tempting goodies, like Butcher’s food! Sounds like a real challenge to us.
