The last 7 years has been an incredible adventure for Agria with a mission to serve People, Planet and Pets:

People
We couldn’t achieve anything without the wonderful staff, partner and customer community we are so privileged to have, and we value every member; listed in the Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to Work 2024. Agria’s strong company ethics and will to do good give valuable “purpose” to our employees. Striving to reduce inequality, we have worked to build an inclusive and supportive environment for all, and provide accessible services. As part of our carbon off-setting strategy, we support a borehole project in Uganda to provide a clean, reliable source of water to local communities, alleviating mainly women and children of the task of collecting it and reducing gender inequality.
Planet
In 2021, Agria superseded its Carbon Neutral status and became Carbon Positive after an intense period of evaluation and measurement and in partnership with our wonderful community. Our fleet of company cars became electric, 80% of our customers chose to go paper-free, and the team strived to make all events Carbon neutral, at least. We created the Carbon Paw/Hoof Print Calculator enabling our customer community to similarly take stock of their own pets’ contribution to planet health and providing information and ideas on improving sustainability. Agria has partnered with international climate projects, extending our positive impact to enriching lives, increasing biodiversity and supporting ecosystems far beyond our own, including a rainforest project in Brazil and hydroelectric power in Turkey. More locally, our partnership with the British Bee Veterinary Association saw us send out 11,000 packets of bee-friendly seeds to customers and vets; plant 3,560 trees in the UK and across the world; and our team literally getting their hands dirty digging, planting, putting up bat and bird boxes and maintaining local streams.
Pets
Agria was voted Best Pet Insurance Provider by Which, for the second time, in 2024, and we are hugely proud of our, expertly created and delivered, lifetime policies providing up to £20,000 annual cover, including free 24/7 access to professional veterinary video consultations via the Agria App, giving reassurance and peace of mind to our customers and the best possible care to their pets. We don’t limit our care to those pets in secure and loving homes, but also those needing a second chance in all the wonderful rescue and rehoming centres we support.
DogFest
As a company of animal lovers, we applaud everything that DogFest is about: informing; educating; training; trying new activities and enrichment. Most of all, we are excited to be celebrating with you the fun and craziness of having dogs in our lives!
