Hello there DogFestians, it’s me Cinna, the Ambassadog, and the better half of The Super Spaniels. My full name is Cinnabar, on account of my colouring.
A few things about myself: I’ve been featured alongside my mum, Chloé Fuller, and my brother, Ted, on multiple television shows. You might have caught us on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Crufts, Blue Peter or This Morning. But let’s talk about the biggest party of the summertime and a great place to catch us in action – DogFest.
I bet you’re wondering what goes on in the Action Arena. Well, myself and Tedders (Ted for short) work together in our Super Spaniel show! Basically, imagine all the different ways a dog could help a disabled person. From opening cupboard doors, to finding house keys, and taking orders from mum. My cupboards are stuffed to bursting with all the fan mail I’ve received, and I’m very excited to meet you all at our seven DogFests this year.

Unfortunately, this blog isn’t all about me! As a seasoned roving Ambassadog reporter, I’ve been tasked with asking my mum, Chloé Fuller my top questions. I will be just as excited as you to hear the answers, as I’ve never stopped moving for long enough to ask a single question before.
Mum, how do you find the patience to train us to do such marvellously clever things?
Well, it is a bit of a full-time job Cinna! You’re not wrong there. It’s taken almost 3 and a half years to get you to where you might be ready for an Assistance Dog jacket. But we firmly believe that every dog is happiest when they have a job! All of the dogs at DogFest have a job one way or another, yours just so happens to be my Assistance Dog.
Do some dogs do tricks even if they don’t have a treat to eat as a reward? If so, we have a union for that now.
Yes! A lot of the DogFest performers have taught their dogs to do tricks without treats, but only by using treats initially. We always like to pay our dogs for the work that they do, but sometimes we can’t always reward in the middle of a performance! Rest assured; they get lots of treats when they’re finished.

What is your favourite trick? I’ve seen you do some cool wheelies in my time.
Thanks Cinna, I think they mean my favourite trick of yours though buddy! My favourite trick of Ted’s would have to be getting me undressed, and my favourite trick of yours would be your weaves at agility. One is spectacularly helpful, and the other is…
For my weaves, we go WOOPWOOPWOOPWOOPWOOPWOOPWOOP. Dear reader, you’ll have to come and watch the Agility in the Action Arena to see me fly! This picture is of my friend who loves Agility at DogFest nearly as much as me!
Anyways, I’ve been meaning to ask you, who do you prefer the most, Me or Ted? Answer quick!
Cinna, I can’t answer that! No really, I can’t. It would be unfair of me. You are both VERY special in VERY different ways. Ted is comforting, he’s been by my side for a decade, he is part of me. You on the other hand, are the most exhilarating little firecracker I’ve ever come across! There is no dog faster than you!
Are we all going to be staying in a hotel together this weekend? Is DogFest Loseley that soon?
We are!! Have you packed your bags? You’ll need to put your Super Spaniel costume in the wash and make sure you don’t tumble dry it! Otherwise, it might be a little snug… I’ll go and fill the car up with petrol, we’re heading to Loseley soon!
Thats all folks, hope to see you there!
Love, Cinna.
WOOF!
