Spring is in the air, which can only mean one thing… DogFest! You may be wondering where to go at such a jam-packed event, so we’ve got the lowdown of what’s going on at the Hay Bale Race and PitPat stand!

  • You can enter your dog to the Hay Bale Race for FREE! There’ll be a leader board with prizes at the end of each day for the top dogs.
  • Then why not head into the PitPat world? You can get a FREE photo of your dog to remember the pawsome day by PitPat’s professional photographer.
  • You can also weigh your dog and download the FREE PitPat app to set up weight tracking for your dog which will tell you whether they need to lose some winter pounds or build up a bit of muscle, or just help to keep you and your furry friend on track. 
  • If you’d then like to join the PitPat Pack, you can get a PitPat dog activity monitor for a special show price of £24 (RRP £39) with the PitPat team on hand you’ll be able to start using it on the day!
  • Once you’re a member of the Pack you can enter PitPat’s VIP Bubbles Bar, where you can receive a complimentary glass of prosecco for you, and pawsecco for your pup. Come and chill out whenever you like and even have a chat with PitPat’s CEO and Founder, Andy Nowell.

You may also be thinking, what do you bring to the event that is the highlight of you and your pup’s year? We’ve got a list of things you won’t want to forget!

  • A lead: with so many dogs, you’ll need to make sure you can have your dog at your side sometimes… your pup may be very friendly, but others may not always want to play.
  • Collapsible water bowl: In the summer months make sure to always have some water on hand.
  • Poop bags: We think this is pretty self-explanatory!
  • Plenty of treats and snacks: It’s likely to be a long day for your dog, so make sure they (and you) are well fuelled!
  • Any sizes you might need for buying collars, jackets etc for your pup: it’s always a pain trying to tangle with measuring on the day when all they want to do is play with other dogs! So why not get out the measuring tape to get all those tricky waist and chest measurements in the comfort of your home?
  • Umbrella: If it’s raining you’ll want to keep dry, and it’s also useful for providing shade in the heat for your pooch! If you’re watching a show or having lunch, just prop it up, that way you can provide some shade for your dog even if you want to sit in the sun!
  • Your PitPat: make sure to bring your PitPat if you’re already a Pack member! You’ll be able to come over to PitPat’s VIP Bubbles Bar and get your glass of prosecco and pawsecco.
