Butcher’s Nourishing Food for Dogs has been crafting wholesome meals for dogs for over 30 years. In their dedication to ensuring the well-being of dogs, they also prioritise environmental responsibility by addressing the impact of their packaging and production methods.

In 2018, Butcher’s made the category-leading initiative to eliminate shrink-wrap from their multi-tin packs and replace it with recyclable cardboard. Over the span of 4 years, this initiative has resulted in the saving of over 564 tonnes of plastic, equivalent to 51,809 sausage dogs!

Butcher’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond cardboard packaging; all their packaging, including steel tins, foil trays, and treat packaging, are recyclable*. The steel tins can be repurposed into various items such as car parts, bicycles, or even more tins for Butcher’s tasty recipes!

*Treats film is recyclable at soft plastic recycling points
