This year, we have joined up with our wonderful charity partner, Dogs Trust, to announce a brand-new feature for the Big Dog Walks taking place at each DogFest – an exciting treasure hunt to find 21 bones and 10 pictures of dogs around each route a perfect activity for kids and adults!
For a minimum donation of £2 per entry going towards the amazing work of Dogs Trust, you will play your part in caring for over 14,000 dogs each year through their network of 21 rehoming centres across the country.
Each person taking part will receive a special treasure hunt guide to fill in and keep and a souvenir to take home for every finisher. There’s even a special Dogs Trust poo bag for each good boy and girl taking part.
The walks themselves will take you through the beautiful venue of each DogFest, with access to parts of the venue that won’t be part of the main festival site and is a perfect way to get away from the crowds for you and your pooches.
There are 3 walks per day, including a dedicated puppy walk at 10am for special socialising time for the young ones (highly recommended for cuteness value too!) and walks at 11am or 3pm that are open to all. You will be able choose between a 2km and 4km route.
You can donate when you book your DogFest tickets, or if you’ve registered without signing up, you can pay online at their dedicated Justgiving page, or pop cash in the buckets on the day.
So bring your walking boots and treasure hunting glasses and we will see you there.
