Founded in 1988 and officially registered as a charity in 2002, British Chihuahua Rescue is run by a dedicated board of trustees and staffed entirely by passionate volunteers.

The charity is committed to relieving the suffering and distress of Chihuahuas in need, offering support to dogs facing rehoming due to changes in circumstances, financial hardship, neglect, or an owner’s ill health. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible rehoming, British Chihuahua Rescue ensures these vulnerable dogs receive the care, love, and second chance they deserve.
